Thanks Jon,

As it happens, I discovered the access to the soups via Extras today...
but when I first had the problem, I used Remove It! to try and delete
the problem soup -- it wouldn't work... just gave me the same 48022
error.

I have been looking into the archives, trying to come up with a good
solution for card management in the future, and in fact came across
some of your helpful comments from 2003.

I think in the end, I will go the route of keeping all packages on the
internal store, as well as the Names information which doesn't change
all that much, and use the card for dates, notes and e-mail storage. I
realize that storing e-mail on the card is what got me into this mess
in the first place, but I think that was due to my being incautious
about switching cards.
