[NTLK] Electronic mail

So, I've investigated a bit and found out, that in theory using mail on 1.x systems would not be so complicated anyway. All that is needed is a package that would replace the OS code in the In and Out boxes to establish a PPP and TCP connection, and from there it would be relatively simple to talk to a POP, IMAP or SMTP server for sending and receiving ASCII data. How hard can it possibly be when there is all documentation freely available on the Web?

What do you think?
