Impressive, though, for Maemo! It looks like a substantial improvement over the existing HWR on the OS2008 devices... Honestly, if my N800 had the Newt's handwriting recognition, it would be a pretty compelling little platform.

i saw this today, and thought i'd share with the Newt community:

so far, it looks like it's just a tech demo of an HWR engine running
on nokia devices (i have an n800, and i'll be testing it out shortly)
but the main thing that struck me was the scratch-out-to-delete
action. all it needs is a little puff of smoke...
