I'd suggest running Basilisk II with NCU under Linux. It works very nicely! Ubuntu puts usb-serial adapters (if it's got drivers for them) at /dev/ttys0, so you just point Basilisk II to /dev/ttys0 (assuming again that Linux has configured your serial adapter) and it can "talk" with the Newt.

Subject: [NTLK] Connecting to Linux
Hello,
I have a MP2100, and a PC running Ubuntu Intrepid with WINE1.1. I read
somewhere that the best way to connect on linux was with NCU and WINE.
I was just wondering what kind of connection I should use for that.
The only type of connection I have available is Mac Serial (DIN-8)
will linux be able to read the keyspan adaptor?
Thanks,
Josh
