Gentlemen,
May I interject here and suggest that it maybe due to the speed.
I recall that sometimes an issue will occur because your ethernet on the
Newton/eMate are 10mb and the Hub, Router or Laptop may not negotiate the
speed always. I know that wehn I connect my older Macs and my Newton if I
use a 10mb Hub it seems to work/play nicer. Maybe I'm totally wrong here but
I do have less issues when I've done it in the past. Unfortunatley I'm not
doing ethernet yet for my Newtons/eMates
I've not played with this in so long that my grey matter may have shorted
out but hopefully it's provided some useful info here :D
