I've got a 2300 sitting around somewhere in the US. I had intended to
convert it to a picture frame, but never did. It still runs, but I
don't know where it is! (either my parents took it to FL with them, or
my MIL has it, or my parents threw it out!)
I wish I had some way of connecting an external CD or floppy to my
280. If I did, I could reinstall the system or fix the hard drive--but
I don't. :-( OK, maybe I do, but I would have to tear my house _and_
my old PowerComputing Mac to do it...
Speaking of rumors, the latest is a tablet (ha ha ha!!!) that will be
cheaper and more powerful. Supposedly in Oct. I'll believe it when I
see it.
