Yes.
I once had one of these and it can be used to as a laptop, but
requires folding the case fully open.
I rarely use a keyboard and prefer a drop in bag. I use a leather bag
similar to ones used by train conductors in Spain or an Eddie Bauer
travel gear bag depending on my needs. These bags will also allow my
to keep keys, etc out of my pockets.
