Is there way to tell if an eMate has undergone the hinge repair
without actually taking apart the machine? For instance, by shining a
flashlight near the hinges and determining whether washers have been
added?
I picked up an emate from a school sale for $20. It's working fine,
the case looks brand-new, and the batteries still hold their charge.
But I don't know whether the hinges have been repaired.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Glenn
