you and or Mr PCBMan are recommending the 1SMB5924BT3 zener.
While I understand that the tranzorb and a reverse-biased zener
effectively behave in the same manner.
Is there are reason that you specify this instead of the TPSMB10 ?
Perhaps the Zener does not die catastrophically when reverese-biased,
unlike the conducting tranzorb ?
