Thanks for that. Might just try using a Newton for E-mail once
or twice again. Last time I did I got sooooo much junk mail that on the
Newton it was horrible. (But then I've had my E-mail address since 1995
so I need a hufty filter.)

Simon Bell wrote Mail V in such a way that it's easily patched for the
use of junk mail filtering, but I don't think anyone's taken advantage
of it yet. Here's his developer documentation on that feature:
