FYI, here is my original post (with emphasis added):
for connecting an MP2100 to a G5 iMac ALS running Mac OS 10.4.11?
I have the following hardware:
Keyspan USA-28X, Twin Serial Adapter
Belkin Apple serial cable
Mini DIN 8 to NIC dongle
And I have the following software:
Keyspan Driver version 2.5
Keyspan Serial Assistant
NewTen
NCX
The connection always fails with the message "The connection was stopped
because there was no response" on the MP2100. This happens with BOTH
NewTen and NCX.
Would a Bluetooth connection be better and if so where can I get a
Bluetooth PC Card that will work with the MP 2100?
