Have you used any newton connection software before.

I assume no.

With Keyspan and drivers installed launch connection package NCX on Mac.
Tap dock on Newton
select serial
expect connection

If not. You may have faulty cable or faulty Interconnect port.

This is the simplest connect going except for NCU in Classic where the
same procedure applies except that you can only install one version of
the Keyspan drivers.
