Hi ya:

I have a date tonight with a girl from Quebec, I wonder if she'll order the poutine?

As for the list, I agree. For instance, Simon Bell and Ron Parker really helped me out with Email. Two A class guys. The fact that Simon Bell just gives away his Mail V is incredible, especially when compared to many of the other Newton Developers whom still try and profit from Newton Users.

Subject: [NTLK] Thanks to all you Newtoneers!

Boy am I spoiled. I have been on this group for many years. Lately I thought
I would branch out and try some different things. I got a G3 Mac Molar and
moved it into an old IBM case and connected it to my KVM switch. Along the
way I had various questions about Mac stuff so I joined some Mac groups. Not
one of my questions was ever acknowledged, let alone answered. I picked up a
Nokia Internet Tablet. I thought I would take a hand at programming one of
those. I even busted out and old PC and installed Ubuntu as a development
platform. The Nokia use scratchbox on top of Linux for development. Well all
of my questions there have gone unanswered except one guy, who answered one
time with an answer that didn't work.

I guess it just goes to show yet again! How great this group is. A Newbie
logs on here and several people respond in friendship. Someone asks a
question, there is an answer in less than an hour and follow up till the
problem is resolved.

Man I love this place. I wish more groups were like this one. Well I'm done
blowing off steam now and not so angry. I think I'll go have some supper,
but no poutine. :)
