I would like to add a little context and history here. Ferdi (his
name) has a long history on this list. At the beginning, he was
particularly rude, and gave poor service, and created a bad reputation
for himself. He has kept by the stuff, however, through the years, and
has gone a long way to "redeem" himself, although, there are a few of
us, who still find it hard to trust him. However, if you will notice,
despite the harsh words in this thread, he has not posted any
'come-backs' or such, which is a _big_ change from his early days.
Also, he used to have bad follow-up service, but this also has
changed, from all reports. There was one other problem. He was accused
of stealing another person's ideas for a serial dongle or memory
upgrade for the eMate (or both). That was an issue that, while on the
surface would seem to put him firmly in the wrong, the end is that it
is almost impossible to know the truth, and beyond that, the original
creator of these things is no longer making them, so the point is moot
now, as KN is the only source for these things now.

To summarize, the only genuinely remaining complaints that are still
in play are high prices, and the blunt truth that he never posts here
unless he has something to sell. ;-)

He has done a lot, and come a long way in the past number of years.
No, he's not perfect, but who among us is? Just remember, that, as in
any case, caveat emptor. The same holds true for him.

There, I hope that adds perspective, while being fair to him.
