Thing was, Newtons were not cheap when they came out. I bought a Newton 2000, keyboard, and case for $1100. Great device, glad I did it, and I was sooooo happy with the purchase, but it was not a cheap solution.

Man the Newton 2000 did rock. Pick up a Newton 110, use it for a week. Then pick up a Newton 2000. Just an amazing experience. Had it not been such a jump in tech and speed, I wouldn't speed that kind of cash-ola, but it seemed worth getting a Apple student loan for.
