I was reading yesterday at the Doctors Office; well not in his office,
in the waiting room of course.
My Newton as always was drawing lots of attention, but only one woman
had enough curiosity to ask
what it was. I replied, "it's a Newton" she then began to remarked how
large it was and that her
husband would probably love it compared to his iPhone. Which he finds
to difficult to read on due to it's
small size: same reason only use my iTouch for PIM data and
entertainment. She left that office well
aware of all it could do and where to best acquire such a device.
Last night I sat down to enjoy the Matrix Reloaded and was reminded
how powerful that speech Morpeus
gave to everyone really was. I feel like Morpheus sometimes when
defending my Newton use to naysayers
and unbelievers alike. It only furthers my enjoyment of showing people
what I am using and how it does the
things it does, so well!
