Re: [NTLK] WiFi problems again

From: David Neale <>
Date: Wed May 27 2009 - 18:45:42 EDT suggests three default ports, 25, 465, 587. I tried
with 587, but SimpleMail still indicated it was unable to resolve the
IP address.

Then I thought I'd try the Gmail server, so changed the SMTP setting
to and modified the username and password settings,
too. This returned the same "unable to resolve the IP address" error.
I then removed the ":995" extension to the SMTP parameter, but the
result was still the same.

In case it helps, the lights on the Lucent card show a constant green
and an irregular flashing green during the "Looking up host" phase;
the flashing light goes out as soon as the error message is displayed;
the constant light goes out perhaps half a minute later.
