First, my apologies for not getting to address your questions when you
emailed me personally, but I'm glad you tried here are have gotten
some good suggestions.

Regarding the "unable to resolve the IP address" errors, that implies
a DNS issue. Do you have DNS servers set in your Internet Setup
settings? If so, are they correct for your current setup? If not, you
can usually just set one DNS server to the internal IP address of your
router or you might try setting the same DNS servers that your other
machines are getting via DHCP.

Second, if that doesn't work, you might try using the IP address for to test to see if it's really a DNS issue or something
else. I did a quick lookup and it appears that while there are a
couple CNAMEs (redirects, essentially), the final IP address is (at least at the moment and from the USA): 3600 IN CNAME 3600 IN CNAME 3600 IN A
