Although not as reliable as current Mac software, it's amazing to
connect at all almost a dozen years after Apple discontinued!

NCX did finally make a backup -- I've no idea how reliable, but seems
about right file sizes for internal and one card. (I also can't back
up my Notes soup due to corrupted note I've not yet eliminated.)

I certainly wouldn't rely on Mac backups only. Apple's NCU on OS9 was
also flaky.

Although sounds Simon invented a very powerful way to store Newt
stuff on Mac. No small challenge!

My main interest is emailing as that seems easiest way to transfer
text from Newton to Mac: I much prefer writing on Newt.
