I've always wanted to ask (and I guess this is as good a place as any): is this expectation of a (hyper) prompt response a generational thing? Or has it now become much more of an across-the-board expectation that people of all ages hold?

I used to believe (in my haste, if not fervor, to hold one particular group responsible) this was something that people under 25 years old were the most guilty of. But now, with computers and mobile devices being cheap and ubiquitous enough that people of all ages can abus^H^H^H^H^Hutilize them, I'm not so sure that's the case anymore (if, indeed, it ever was).

Your thoughts?

Best,

James Fraser
