[NTLK] Free way to get handwriting recognition in works?

I'm not sure how, but I had works better working on my messagepad for
long after the expiration date (maybe because I froze it?). I thawed it
today, and it deactivated itself. The only feature I used from works
better was its handwriting support for works. Is there a free
alternative that does just this? I'm so talkative this week!
