[NTLK] 2010 update wiped my MP2000

My Emate took the 2010 update with no problem but when I did it on the 
MP2000, when it rebooted, it came up with the window asking if i wanted 
to wipe it. I clicked NO but when it finished, it was wiped clean...all 
data and packages gone. Not a real biggie as I had backed it up 
beforehand. But...and here's where the problem lies...I don't have a 
serial dongle anymore. I was synching wirelessly with my MacBook. But 
with all the ethernet connectivity gone now, I can't restore. So...after 
gnashing of teeth and flailing about, an idea came to me. I could beam 
those packages from the Emate to the 2000...brilliant! All went well for 
the first couple packages but then I didn't have the option to beam the 
Newton Internet and NIE Ethernet Module packages. Other than finding 
another serial adapter (anyone have one to spare?) any ideas how I can 
get this connected via ethernet?
