I... wouldn't start jumping for joy just yet. There have been numerous
issues, even with the patch.

Try a soft-reset for example, and check if the date remains correct.
Some people even had to brainwipe their Newtons to get them past the
login screens...

Even the old MP's are suffering from the Y2010 bug, like my German MP130.

If it doesn't work... you might want to reset the date back to 1993.
At least that way you'll see the correct days on your calendar.
