[NTLK] AA NiMH Rechargeables

I haven't tried re-celling yet, as I have a handful of battery sleds  
that I purchased back in the '90s.

Maybe you could try peeling off the thick plastic coating and then  
insulating the cells from each other with something thinner, like  
Kapton tape?
