The Newton Book reader extension for Firefox still works, but you have  
to disable the compatibility check. If you have Firefox 3.6 then do  
the following:

1. Open FireFox
2. trype "about:config" in the address bar and hit Enter
3. Accept the disclaimer
4. Right-click on the list and choose to create a new boolean setting
5. Name the setting "extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6" and set it to  
false
6. Install the Newton Book Reader.
