Exactly.  Even the name, "iPad", implies the metaphor of a pad of  
paper; and what good is a pad of paper without a PEN?



Good point.

But I think we are looking at this wrong.  It is not a Pad, as in writing pad...

... more like a maxi-pad.   A really large one.
