[NTLK] Low Battery Life on Messagepad 2000 (upgraded to 2100)

Thanks for the replies :) Yup, I have made sure to turn them off, and set my Newton to sleep after 1 minute of inactivity. Still, my batteries seem to be draining overnight or something. It can't seem to last the week under occasional use, with me hardly using the backlight.

Is the Newton supposed to last this shortly while on Standby mode?
