...and so the story continues.  Hey, maybe if we create a next generation of
Newton users, there'll be a corresponding next generation of Apple execs
who'll say, "Hey!  We've got a potential market out there going
untapped...".   And maybe Apple finally will give them (and us) a new model,
fully functional Newton, complete with HWR and all the other goodies, but
upgraded usefully and no longer subject to obsolescence and lack of spare
parts and all that.

As for the young lad, tell him that he has a welcome waiting here for him.
He won't even have to be the list's mascot if he doesn't want.  Although now
that I think about it, he could be the poster boy in our never-ending
campaign to get Apple to release a new Newton.  (Yes, I really do have a
one-track mind when it comes to Newtons.)
