[NTLK] Ethernet Dongle Dead?

On my 3Com card the dongle light only stays on if its connected. It
lights briefly when called, but then goes dark until connection
If its staying lit, I wonder if your Internet Setup is correct. Is it set
to manual or DHCP, for instance.
