In the Einstein release you are using, this message is created on the
Android side. After this message is logged, Android loads the huge Einstein
C++ library, in which everything lives that you would label "Newton", and
then tries to start Einstein using a native call into said library. Whatever
happens between this and the following log message happens entirely on
Matthias' turf. I'm afraid I won't be able to shed any light on what's going
on here except for the educated guess that either the Einstein emulator
crashes on loading the C++ library or (more likely) something goes wrong
when starting the emulator.

I'm not entirely sure what physical hardware you are running this on. If
anybody out there could send me such a beast for a week or so, I might be
able to shed some more light on this problem using the debugging tools I'm
using during Einstein development.
