I am almost complete with my setup that uses a BeagleBone Board (or RPI2) and VNC if anyone is interested, I will be happy to post the final image of the SD Card when I am done with it.  I have it basically connected to my WPA capable router that connects to the newt network via wifi to allow me to connect to a more modern browsing experience.

I know this is in no way an internal solution but may help with the development of one.
