Well explained, Dennis!

IIRC, the issue with my email address was a bit more of a mystery. I changed passwords several times, but still spam was being sent from the actual account. (Grant could see it was from me, not a spoof account). I wasn’t opening attachments or clicking on links...I have a fairly secure WiFi server (well, the Newton and WEP). The only solution was to discard that email account and create another...which I did. And, so far so good.
