Be careful, Nic,
Keyspan 28X adapters is no longer compatible with MacOSX versions 10.4 and higher. Only the 28XG models are still compatible. The latest drivers for these 28XG (if yours is an XG model) are here: https://assets.tripplite.com/drivers/usa-19hs-driver-mac-os-x-10.12-beta.zip
Most new Newton users, use basic USB/Serial adapters with an FTDI Chipset, such as the one presented by Pawel : https://www.ugreen.com/product/UGREEN_Serial_Cable_USB_to_RS232_DB9_Male_A_Converter_with_FTDI_Chipset-en.html
For the Mail service, see with Marisa from the site newtoncity.org. Which is in this maillingList, which offers mail hosting without ssl for Newton users who need it.

Back then, I had them connected to a past Mac mini back then (using NCX on OSX Lion via a Keyspan 28X USB adapter). Now I would like to transfer notes I write on my MP2100 to my Mac mini (MacOS Mojave) but I can't get the Keyspan 28X USB adapter drivers to show up on the Mac (either as options in NCX or in the Keyspan Adapter Assistant). The Keyspan adapter drivers installation reports "success" on my Mojave Mac but the ports don't show up as options in NCX or the Keyspan Adapter Assistant.
