I built a Newton pen out of an Autopoint lighted pen for writing at
night. It is a backlight solution for pre-130 Newtons and a more
natural feeling writing instrument in one. I sanded a Wacom stylus
tip a little to fit in the tip of the pen in place of the ink
cartridge and now play chess with my 120 in dimly lit rooms looking
stylishly futuristic with my BladeRunner-esque creation. Putting a
gel in the pen light makes cool colors.
