BTW, I'm trying a Xircom CreditCard Modem 33.6 of which is listed on this
page as "MP2x00 Reliable modem"
Anybody experience with this modem, is recognized as a communication card
but when I try to connect it dials very slow and gets stuck in the
"connecting to the internet" stage and returns the message: "SimpleMail,
Problem connecting. Can't establish a link. PPP Negotiation failed."
I started fiddling around with modem modifier but though there's some
progress, no real success yet, anybody any suggestions ?
