LunaMail Lite does not have a PPP stack built in. It connects via a shell
login and telnets to POP/SMTP servers to do its stuff.

It does indeed work; I used it on my OMP to connect to a linux box many
years ago. I have not used it in a long, long time. Now I use my mp2k
over ethernet :)
