Sounds like a Windows vs Mac type of thing...
If he had a 2100 and didn't get it then, there's nothing you can do to
get him back, some people connect
the " more programs " with "better platform", most likely he
doesn't really need the extra power/ versatility the MP has therefore a
Palm is enough for his needs but just for the hell of it stand next to
him and show him how easy it is to print , fax and surf the web compared
to the Palm.
The only real "advantage" of the Palm is the size...
