Diana,
I've been probing more into the software and have found it
also unable to give me a list of student names from within the "note"
section. When you go to attach it to a certain student... it can't
create the list.
The way around this, however, is to go to the class list,
highlight the student name and then click 'note' to have it attached
to the student.
...hope there aren't too many other 'bugs' waiting around the corner.
