Linguist's Software makes a 4-weight PostScript Type One typeface family
called LaserTamil. It's a commercial product, so it's not a free download.

You can also find several sources for other Tamil-language typefaces
using Google (mostly Windows TrueType and bitmapped formats), but I would
be cautious of their quality. The Linguist's product will be the best
quality font.
