After spending hours pounding my brain, the game is called
Othello (its the same game as reversi from what I gather,
on my mac, the mac version was always reversi) -- anyway
all is cool there :D

The MacOS package... gone ;) --- man that would make a
nice april fool's prank :p it gave me quite a scare, I
think now I will go and back up my newton :p
