Today's _New York Sun_ newspaper in their "SMARTERTIMES" section had a
mention of the Newton:

"FAILED COMPANY An article on the business page of yesterday's new York
Times reports:" The pen computing vision has led consistently to the
valley's most spectacular flops. Amonth them were failed efforts like Grid,
Agilis, the Go Corporation, Eo, General magic, Apple, Momenta and others."
To call Apple a "failed effort" seems a bit of an overstatement. The company
still exists, and it has revenues of more than $5 billion a year.
Smartertimes is written on an Apple computer. Apple's Newton pen computer
was a failed effort, but that's different from saying Apple is a failed
effort"

There was also a nice picture of a 2x00 (the Apple advertising shot with the
San Francisco map on the screen)
