DHCP is hit and miss for me as well. What if you manually assign an IP
address?

Yep. And as far as I know, I have the latest version - 1.05 - from
Hiroshi's website... That is the latest version, isn't it?

I installed it, and reset the Newt, and it always gives me that error
with
the SMC card. With the scavenged Orinoco Silver - I do not get that
message - and I seem to be able to at least SEE other Appletalk devices
[a
few printers] - but cannot get an IP connection to work via DHCP, nor
can
I print via Appletalk to the printers that I *can* see.

Any ideas?
