This is a known problem of Escale 1.0.1.
Recent nightly builds have the new synchronization engine built-in,
but it is not complete yet (however, no error occurs when you press
sync since there is no synchronization source implemented, nothing is
synchronized).
The new synchronization engine should be completed soon.
