Whenever I insert my 3Com 3CXE589DT into my MP 2000 I get a slip saying
that the Newt does not recignise the card. I have installed all the
nessecarry drivers, incliding NIE, the Farallon driver, and the drived
patch. Any ideas on whats going on? Could the order in which I
installed the components of NIE be the problem?
On a related note, will the Ethernet card always draw battery power
when it is plugged in, or will disabling NIE / freezing certain
packages prevent this?
