*g* Thought so. Actually I have a very old pair of Sony MDC-NC20s lying under my desk (polluting my precious carpet) for some reason. The noise shaping effect is nice safe for the background hiss it induces, unless you are on a fast train passing another train, as the circuit is a bit slow... BANG!, but the headphones themselves are abysmal. They were a steal though, cut from 299 (Deutschmarks! Those were the days...) to 130 or so. Back in 96 (?) I had no idea how good headphones could be though, actually I just wanted something nice matching the wretched micro-jack on my Sony MZ-R30's remote.
Oliver :)
