[NTLK] Why does Jobs seem angry?

I have a different take as to why Steve Jobs is angry.
He is angry because he realizes that when Apple developed and released the
Newton, it gave consumers TOO MUCH in one fell swoop.

Ever the savvy business shark, he would have much preferred to have seen the
technology released in a slow trickle of slightly differing consumer
electronic products. Even better, from his viewpoint, would have been to release the
technology in some form whereby consumers would have to pay monthly licensing
fees, much the way that Napster and other services make money.

In giving us the do-it-all Newton device, Apple gave away too much at once.
This severely cut into its potential share of the huge consumer electronics
market. Mr. Jobs realizes this, and he is mad at himself for not having the
foresight to prevent it from happening.

You'd think some people would be happier with their positions of power,
prestige, and their millions of dollars...
