Why couldn't you have a small window which is moved around by the mouse
and acts like a cursor, but not actually looking like one, or some kind
of sprite image that could be loaded and moved by a mouse? This should
*theoretically* be possible, as the "minispector" program uses a
non-standard window surround, so there must be a way of loading
non-standard sprites, however, it may have to be a box-shaped cursor,
but it should still work.
