Again pliers will be able to squish the spring to provide the grip
you need. Go easy. If the spring is loose (as mine are) the screen
may not hold when close to the keyboard, but that's not how you use
it. At normal angle it holds just fine. As it was I had to tap the
axle with a hammer to get the spring to fit on, don't go any looser
than that (or it won't be doing squat). I didn't measure a torque,
but you should be able to move the hinge with your fingers, but only
with a firm grip.

Keep an eye out for those small parts, especially the little T thing
that senses when the screen closes, it's a real pain to carve one out
of plastic.
