I just found them by chance in the packaging with the battery. I don't
know if you can get them by themselves. Maybe online you can find them, they are basically 4 inches long, 1/4 in. thick, round and with one end a screw driver spoon like head and the other a kind of flat head screw driver bent like a hook. They both were a great help and didn't scratch or damage the case.
You can try eBay if you don't want to spring for the iPod battery. I know that
once you get those little plastic tools, it'll be a huge relief not having to bust open
that Newton case.

Can I get the tools by themselves? I'm not an iPod person, but I'd love
the tools not just for this job but for the tinkering I tend to do with
computers.
