I just did mine. Like the man said, Tie consuming but no special skills
needed. I didn't have to do any thing except clean, lube and add a washer to
mine. But it sure does feel smooth now. It took me about 5 hours. My only
moment of panic came when I was done and hit the power switch. Nothing! no
bing no error, no screen nothing. But I pressed the trusty reset and
everything came alive just like always. My advice, get a couple of torx
bits, a butane powered mini soldering iron and a work space and do it
yourself. Aside from saving the money you will learn so much about the
machine. I found the whole process fascinating.
